Hi, I’m Shane Lipskind, and I’m the medical director at ACFS. As a double board-certified Obstetrician-Gynecologist and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility subspecialist, I feel incredibly fortunate to have gravitated toward one of the most dynamic and compelling fields in all of medicine. If you’re reading this page, it’s likely that you understand why.
Hello, and welcome to Arizona Center for Fertility Studies. I’m Nicole Kummer, an infertility specialist who is double board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. I am excited to help you on your journey to building a larger family.
Jay S. Nemiro founded Arizona Center for Fertility Studies in 1982 after completing residency and fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility (REI) at Georgetown University. He was the Director of the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Banner Good Samaritan Hospital (now Banner University Medical Center) from 1987-1994.

Hi, my name is Kyler, and I have been with ACFS since 2012 as a reproductive biologist; dedicated to our patients’ needs in embryology, andrology, and endocrinology. Joining ACFS in the cutting edge field of human IVF was an opportunity that could not be ignored.
Hi, my name is Jennifer, and I am one of the RN’s at ACFS. I have been in the women’s health field for over 20 years. I come to ACFS with 5 years of reproductive medicine experience, as this sub-specialty is my passion. I was an infertility patient myself, so I understand what you may be going through.
Hello, my name is Melinda, and I am a Medical Assistant with 10 years of experience in Obstetrics and Gynecology. I started in the medical field as something to fill my time after having children, not knowing that I would fall completely in love with medicine, patients, their families, and all the new babies coming into this world.
Hi! My name is Leslie and I am a Clinical coordinator. I had worked in the fertility world for over 15 years at a clinic in Chicago before my husband, children and I relocated to Scottsdale in January 2018. After taking some time off from work, I quickly realized how much I missed working in the medical field and was eager to get back to fertility.
Hello, my name is Elizabeth. I began working in healthcare as a front office specialist during college and I quickly realized that I wanted to follow my heart and pursue a career in the medical field. After 10 years of experience in other specialties, I was fortunate enough to have an opportunity that I couldn’t turn down in reproductive medicine.
Hello, my name is Anais, and I have been in the medical field since 2016. Prior to joining ACFS, I worked in both Orthopedic and OBGYN offices, gaining knowledge in all aspects of front office duties and serving as an administrative coordinator, surgery scheduler, and insurance specialist. In 2018, I obtained my Medical Assistant Certification to become fluent in clinical care.
Hello, my name is Ed Kircher. I am a Certified Surgical Assistant, credentialed by two independent boards and have over 25 years of assisting experience. I first met Dr. Lipskind in June of 2014, was fascinated by the procedures performed by him, and have been his assistant in surgery since that time.
I met Dr. Jay Nemiro twenty-six years ago, when we got together to discuss the potential startup of a program for assisted reproduction. After a few short meetings, we organized and set up the program within a relatively short period, beginning the ongoing odyssey.
